can't escape the crayon crown
candle burning wax side down
winning losers or whatever
nothing makes me feel better

memory coils:
no grounding to these thoughts
pull the line until its taut
pushing through the memory's coil
force my mind into the soil

theres no ringing to these words
satisfy never occurs
separating from my time
